From time to time, she has sought work as an “expert” on various medical matters.
Charly D. Miller has a fixation on prone restraint techniques. Her opinions on these techniques do not comport with generally accepted professional practice. Larry Sarner, Linda Rosa, Jean Mercer, and Monica Pignotti have, through their fringe “advocacy group” often referred to Miller’s writings on this topic to be incisive; others tend to refer to them as insipid.
In the course of a deposition examining her qualifications and background, there was discussion of her termination from Denver General.
As these pages show, Miller was told she was fired for violating patient confidentiality.
Miller claims it did not happen, but could, or would, not provide an alternative explanation for her termination, which is, apparently, undisputed.
